Berkley Dems Annual Meeting - Feb 16, 7pm
We welcome you to attend our special Annual Meeting of the Berkley Democratic Club from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. at a special location -- Our Lady of La Salette, 2219 Coolidge Hwy. in Berkley.
Meeting Schedule
The Berkley Democratic Club generally meets on Wednesdays and usually run from 7pm to 8:30pm. As always, our meetings are open to the public. Bring your topics, ideas, and opinions to share and interact with other like-minded individuals!

Democrats Will Endorse Candidates for 2012 Elections
The Michigan Democratic Party will hold an Endorsement Convention on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Cobo Center in Detroit. Delegates will endorse three candidates for the Michigan Supreme Court and eight candidates for statewide Education Boards.

They just don't get it. Ordinary people are rising up and demanding that our country work for the 99%, but Congress is still acting like nothing has changed.
In less than two weeks, the Super Committee will unveil their deficit reduction plan. And instead of focusing on creating jobs and making the rich pay their fair share, all indications are that Congress will once again protect the 1% at the expense of the 99%—unleashing up to $1.2 trillion in vicious, job-killing cuts that could hit Medicare, Social Security, and other programs the middle class relies on.

We will be helping make GOTV calls for some of our local candidates, and also having a sign-making party for the upcoming rally against the GOP presidential debate at the Oakland University campus. Bring your best slogan ideas for signs!
