MDP State Convention, Sun Aug 29

We're excited to let you know about our upcoming August Nominating Convention, scheduled for August 28th and 29th, 2010 at Cobo Center in Detroit.

Vote to nominate your favorite candidates for office: Lt. Governor, Supreme Court Justice, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Michigan State Board of Education and all of the University Education Boards, as we gear up for Democratic Victory in 2010. Below you'll find all the information you need to get involved!

Nominating Convention Agenda - make sure you know where you need to be and when ahead of time by downloading the agenda for the 2010 Nominating Convention here.

MDP Membership Form - in order to vote at August's nominating convention, you need to be a member of the Michigan Democratic Party at least 30 days before the event. If you have questions about your membership, please email membership@michigandems.com or call (517) 371-5410. Precinct delegates, elected officials, and candidates can become members until August 29th.

Hotel Information - Hotel rooms are available at the Motor City Casino Hotel located at 2901 Grand River Ave., Detroit, MI 48021. Rooms are $119 (plus tax) per night.
