New club website - coming soon!

Hello folks, and welcome to this special preview of the new club website! I have a few more things to do with the website before "we do it live!" and now is a great time for your feedback and suggestions.

Take a look around - post an essay, begin your own blog, upload a picture - in short, help me kick the tires a bit to learn more about what our new website can do for us as a community.

Our primary website remains http://www.berkleydems.org and I suggest you refrain from bookmarking too many of these pages for a little while longer.

When we launch this new website, I will redirect our primary domain name to point to this site (for now we're using a temporary domain name for our test purposes here).

My overall plan is to launch the new website in mid-March (or sooner) after I take care of a few more features. The things that I will add to the website include:

• The ability to join the club or contribute online;
• The ability to subscribe to email newsletters; and
• An interactive online calendar of events, to supplement the text-based list in the left column.
