Special Event with Congressman Gary Peters

Please join Congressman Gary Peters this Saturday at the Re-Election Kickoff and Fundraiser for County Commissioner Tim Greimel!

The event is this Saturday, May 8, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bluewater Bistro (formerly Bistro Bourdeau) at 3315 Auburn Road in downtown Auburn Hills. Gourmet pizza, pasta, and other delicious appetizers will be served!

The suggested contribution is $50 for the general reception from 4 pm to 6 pm and $100 for the private reception with special guest Congressman Gary Peters from 3 pm to 4 pm.

As a county commissioner, Tim Greimel has:

• Assisted small businesses and helped to diversify our economy by establishing Oakland County's new micro-lending program to provide loans to small businesses and by supporting Oakland County's Emerging Sectors Initiative to attract growing, high-paying industries to our area.
• Defended taxpayers by voting more than 10 times against raising, and to lower, taxes and fees.
• Opened county government to greater transparency and accountability by moving half of the county commission's meetings to the evenings when working people can attend and by voting to cut my own salary and benefits.
• Helped preserve our environment by voting for green-building and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Fought to improve our roads by repeatedly proposing that Tri-Party Road Improvement Program dollars be spent on repaving and repairs, instead of on widening roads.
