Stand Up For Michigan

What: GOP Presidential Debate
When: Wed November 9th, begin assembling 4:30p
Where: Meet the group at the Oakland University entrance at University Dr. & Squirrel Rd.

While some politicians were busy scoring points at Michigan’s expense, our workers, families and communities have been fighting every day to rebuild our economy after the Wall Street collapse.

Now, the same politicians, corporations and special interests who would have let Detroit go bankrupt, let our auto industry fail, and left families at the mercy of predatory lenders are trying to do it again.

Working families are struggling to make ends meet while rich CEO’s and large banks contribute to politicians who are helping them to exploit the largest economic depression since the early 1900’s.

Corporate profits were a record $1.2 trillion last year while 1 in 6 working families are unemployed.

We are the people of Michigan.

Join us to stand up against special interest tax loopholes and giveaways to the wealthiest individuals - stand up against bailouts for Wall Street while families and Michigan workers struggle - and stand up for leadership that stands up for us.
