Welcome to the new BDC website!

March 1, 2009 - Almost four years ago we launched our Berkley Democratic Club website, and it has served us well in several important election cycles. Now we turn our attention to the future with a fresh, new website - and your involvement is key!

A look back

In April, 2005, our first club website went "on the air" to serve our community with timely news and information. The website focused on our progressive Berkley community and was the place to look for local, county, and state updates.

The simple, clean layout provided us with fresh and up-to-date stories and information about our club membership, meetings and events, newsletters, and the ability to contact us online. Over time we added newsletter archives, photo collections, and the ability to join or contribute online.

Our initial website was well-received within the city and was recognized across the county. Yet as technology advanced and as our membership expanded, we soon outgrew what the initial website could readily provide us. Based on feedback at recent club meetings and email messages, we sought to provide our progressive community with progressive online tools.

A look ahead

The new website builds on the success of its predecessor. Its modern design provides us with easier navigation to more content, and adds new functionality to serve our progressive community.
